Mouse has noticed that many of us have travelling socks and has set up a blog for them.
Today, the sock is at work; it's a commuter sock that doesn't get out much. To be honest, it doesn't look much like a sock yet, but it has already done some traveling on it's own. This yarn (Plymouth Sockotta, Color 618, 45% cotton/40% superwash wool, 15% nylon) was originally part of Juno's stash. When she decided to release some sock yarn into the wild, I was lucky enough to catch some of it on the way past.
Since there's only one ball of it, I'm going to use Wendy's Toe-Up sock pattern and try out the Magic Loop technique.

Thanks for the shout out.. The socks don't actually have to travel anywhere, you can always submit a sock in the garden of your house or somewhere amusing. I added your blog to my Blogroll.. can't wait to see more of your spinning!
I just checked Traveling Sock's email and realized you submitted this.. I'm a dork. lol I'm working on a button for blogs that you can put up with a link for being part of the traveling sock blog.. I'll get it to you when I finish it. Thanks :)
Nice idea with this site its better than most of the rubbish I come across.
